Successful completion of this programme supports learners in achieving the qualifications needed to apply for Gas Safe registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Course Suitability \u2013 Skill Level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Managed Learning Programme (MLP)<\/strong> is suitable for candidates of <strong>varying experience levels<\/strong>, from complete beginners to experienced operatives looking to formalise their qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skill level suitability can be discussed in detail with our training team prior to enrolment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualification Structure (All Levels)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All learners will be working towards the following <strong>ACS qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CCN1<\/strong> \u2013 Core Gas Safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CPA1<\/strong> \u2013 Combustion Performance Analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CENWAT<\/strong> \u2013 Central Heating Boilers &amp; Water Heaters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maximum completion time:<\/strong> 24 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beginner Level<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed for those with little or no previous gas industry experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>ACS Qualification route<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum 24 months to complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intermediate Level<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ideal for those with some relevant experience or related qualifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>ACS Qualification route<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum 24 months to complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced Level<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Suitable for experienced operatives needing ACS certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>ACS Qualification route<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum 24 months to complete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Syllabus &amp; Programme Structure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1 \u2013 Classroom Training<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timeframe:<\/strong> Approximately 8 months (part-time)<br><strong>Hours:<\/strong> Monday to Friday, 9:00am \u2013 4:00pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This stage covers essential theory, practical skills, and underpinning knowledge to prepare learners for portfolio building and assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 \u2013 Portfolio Building<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timeframe:<\/strong> Up to 6 months<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portfolio building is a <strong>mandatory and critical part<\/strong> of the programme.<br>You must be working alongside a <strong>Gas Safe registered engineer<\/strong> to gather real-world evidence and complete your portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2013 Final ACS Assessment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timeframe:<\/strong> 5 days<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assessments take place at the training centre and include <strong>theoretical and practical exams<\/strong> in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>CCN1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CPA1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>CENWAT (Central heating boilers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 \u2013 Additional Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After a minimum of <strong>12 months on the Gas Safe Register<\/strong>, learners can return to add further appliances to their scope of work, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Domestic cookers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gas fires<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please speak to our staff to discuss available options and progression routes. we also offer routes for CMA3 (metering)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is ACS?
