At All Smart Training, we offer a comprehensive range of Gas Training programmes to support both new and experienced engineers in meeting industry standards, achieving compliance, and expanding their skillset.
Whether you’re starting your journey in the gas industry or renewing essential qualifications, we provide high-quality, hands-on training delivered by operationally experienced professionals.
Smart Metering Gas Diploma & EUSR Referencing Scheme
In addition to our Smart Metering Gas Diploma, we support engineers through the EUSR Smart Metering Referencing Scheme—a key requirement for those carrying out smart meter installations.
We offer the Low Pressure Gas Assessment, which upon successful completion, allows us to register candidates directly with the EUSR awarding body, keeping them fully compliant and work-ready.
ACS Gas Qualifications
To work legally with gas in the UK, engineers must be registered with Gas Safe Register. This is achieved by successfully completing ACS (Accredited Certification Scheme) assessments and proving competency.
We offer both initial assessments and reassessments for the following qualifications:
Note: Training is not a pre-requisite to assessment
Core & Metering Units
- CCN1 – Core Domestic Gas Safety (required for all other appliances)
- CMA3 – Domestic gas meters
- CMA1 – Domestic & non-domestic gas meters
- MET1 – Installation, exchange, and removal of gas meters
- REGT1 – Medium pressure regulator exchange and commissioning
Appliance-Specific Units
- CENWAT – Central heating boilers and water heaters
- HTR1 – Gas fires and wall heaters
- CKR1 – Gas cookers and hobs
Who should attend?
This course is suitable for engineers who have the necessary qualifications to be admitted onto the ACS Scheme. Run by the Strategic Management Board for the industry, successful completion of this course will enable an engineer to register with Gas Safe.
Engineers are classified into 2 categories:
- Category 1 – Experienced practicing gas fitting operative
- Category 2 – Applicant with relevant mechanical engineering/fitting qualifications/experience
Note: Successful completion of the Core Domestic Gas Safety qualification is a pre-requisite before gas engineers can undertake additional assessment on natural gas fuelled installations and appliances.
