  • CKR1 – Installation & servicing of gas cookers
  • HTR1 – Installation & servicing of gas fires and space heaters
  • MET1 – Installation & servicing of domestic gas meters
  • REGT1 – Medium Pressure Regulator Exchange & Commissioning
  • CMA3 – Domestic Gas Meters
  • CMA1 – Domestic & Non-Domestic Gas Meters
  • CESP1 – Core Emergency Service Provider

Who Should Attend?

This course is suitable for engineers who meet the entry requirements for the ACS Scheme, overseen by the industry’s Strategic Management Board.

Successful completion enables engineers to apply for or renew their Gas Safe Registration.

Engineers fall into two categories:

  • Category 1 – Experienced practicing gas fitting operative
  • Category 2 – Applicant with relevant mechanical engineering or fitting qualifications/experience

Important: Successful completion of CCN1 (Core Domestic Gas Safety) is mandatory before undertaking additional appliance assessments on natural gas-fueled installations and appliances.

Additional Information – What to Bring

Please ensure you bring the following on the day of training or assessment:

  • 2 passport-sized photographs
  • Original copies of expired or expiring ACS qualifications
  • Note-taking materials (recording devices are not permitted)
  • A calculator (non-smartphone type – one can be provided if required)

We provide access to the NICEIC Domestic On-Site Guide for use throughout the course.
Copies are available to purchase prior to or at the start of your training.
